It is the most satisfying feeling to see donations being made to Doctors Without Borders , an organisation that changes and saves lives. Recently, I added two posts to Facebook, the first was an announcement of our next big fundraiser – the 2000 mile ‘Ride to the Rock’ bike ride. The second was a birthday request. Between them they raised £1174 which is absolutely remarkable.

I have just added this to the overall fundraising total, which now stands at £114,557 or 57% of the goal (£200,000).

I would like to thank everyone who has donated to these appeals. I am now going to try to focus on corporate donations / sponsorship for the Ride to the Rock. I need to leave you all alone for a while but be warned, I will be back when your wallets have replenished!

If anyone has any contacts in the business world and can put me in touch with potential sponsors I would be very grateful. I have a very nice information pack that I can send that explains everything about this project. Thank you all once again – you are amazing.
