Huge thanks to Karl Eckert who very kindly delivered us to North Shields for the ferry crossing . We said goodbye to Georgia and Ruby Alice and set off at 1200. An hour and a half later we arrived safe & sound. We are now relaxing on / exploring the ship.

We sail about 1700 so I wanted to post before we set off and lose signal. I just want to say a massive thank you to you all for the incredible support you have given Tracey and I in our build up to this challenge.

The Plan for the next few days is to cycle from the ferry terminal to Amsterdam tomorrow morning, settle in to a hotel then for the rest of the week I am going to engage with as many media outlets as are prepared to talk to me.
