Earlier today, I had the immense privilege to talk to the lovely ladies of the Hampsthwaite Wednesday group.

I have spoken to this very friendly and welcoming group of people once before. On a bizarre night a few years ago, we had to get a bat out of the room before I could commence the presentation!

There were no bats this time just a few gremlins, technical problems led to a bit of a stop start performance but I remained relatively calm and the ladies accepted the situation very graciously.

This is the third time I have given this new talk and it seems to go down very well. The focus is on our fundraising exploits .

£198 was donated today which is amazing and will change many lives for the better. Special thanks to Julia Cox who arranged the day for my talk and also ferried me to and from Hampsthwaite Memorial hall. Julia, you are lovely.
