Over the last 12 months I have lost a large number of presentations to the necessary precautions associated with COVID, this has been frustrating as it has meant a serious dip in fundraising donations. This is at a time when MSF are stretched all over the world providing care in multiple projects in over 70 countries.
On the 14th February an Ebola outbreak was declared in Guinea. This was always going to have an emotional impact on me as I worked in neighbouring Sierra Leone during the regional Ebola outbreak in 2014. Doctors Without Borders have responded to the Guinea outbreak and are well an truly deployed. You can read more HERE
