No signal again yesterday so I was unable to update till Lons le Saunier.

It’s been a good couple of days on the walking front. In truth nothing particularly amazing has happened but I have made good progress and am exactly where I wanted to be.

I’m a little anxious about the next few days, I am heading to a place called St Claude which should be ok but then a lot of complex walking routes mix together and it looks tricky. I managed to buy a map at the extremely helpful tourist information on Lons le Saunier and will work out a plan tomorrow.

Some Belgian beer is helping to crystallise (hmmmm) my thoughts. A couple more of these babies and I’ll fly to Geneva.

Lons le Saunier is a nice city and I will be exploring it properly the morrow.
