So yesterday (19th) Tracey and I along with our friends Andy and Marina went to the Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders Office to say hello to the staff and to share some thoughts about Fundraising and about our ride to the rock project.

As in Brussels we were welcomed warmly by Benjamin and Nicky who were kind and interested in our work for MSF. We chatted about fundraising, our journey so far and the previous days big news – our engagement!

After meeting new friends in the third of the operational centres we will visit we had to say goodbye to our dear pals Andy & Marina. Tough to part from such good people.

au revoir nos amis.

Tracey and I spent most of the afternoon walking down by the Seine we wandered past Notre Dame cathedral and lounged around drinking coffee and eating sorbet in cafés.

Today, (20th) has been a housekeeping day – scrubbing the bike chains and re lubing. Washing clothes and the highlight – a phone interview with the Stray Ferrets Vicky – who was lovely with us.

Tomorrow we leave Paris and start to head South East towards Geneva and our next check in with MSF.

Thank you all for your kind words and your ongoing support. Please share our fundraising efforts with your friends and enemies alike.
