I am incredibly grateful to everyone who attended this mornings presentation about Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders at the U3A meeting at St Marks in Harrogate.
Organised by my friend Steve Hutchinson, the fantastic audience for this presentation was generous in the extreme. Last year, I spoke to the group about our Fundraising work, today’s talk was more about my clinical work with MSF.
In 2024, I was blown away by donations totalling £750 however today, the group has doubled that with a total of £1409.65p. This is by far the biggest donation at one of my presentations and I can barely express my gratitude to everyone who came and generously gave to keep MSF doing what they do best : saving lives.
If you know of any groups or businesses who may be prepared to listen to our story, please contact me. We are always on the lookout for an opportunity to spread the word about MSF’s work and indeed to find potential sponsors for future challenges. All of the money raised, every single penny goes to MSF.
