My Latest Attempt To Kill Myself For Doctors Without Borders!

As part of a wider fundraising effort, I have decided to run a treadmill half marathon on Saturday 1 September 2018.

The photos you see here were taken in 2012 when my friend and inspiration Jonathan Walker and I ran marathons in the window of Gambaru the fantastic gym in Harrogate centre. I’m older now! Hence this will be a HALF MARATHON.

The run will take place in the entrance foyer at Harrogate District Hospital.

It will start at 1300hrs (1pm) and will take around two hours (or so, ish, about,)

I am doing this as a stand alone event but will add the total to the overall money raised for Doctors Without Borders which currently stands at just over £85,000. (See www.andy4msf.com).

For anyone who does not know me, I am a nurse in Harrogate Hospitals Endoscopy Department, I also work with Doctors Without Borders . I have completed 4 missions with them in Uganda , twice in Soutb Sudan and in Sierra Leone during the 2013-15 Ebola outbreak.

Doctors Without Borders or Médecins Sans Frontières is a major part of my life and I dedicate my free time to their work.

Please support this challenge if you are able.
