Missed Opportunities – Please Help

The fundraising project is now 8 years old and thus far we have raised over £86,000.

In the last couple of days I have been looking over the numbers and have worked out that it averages £10,000 a year (complex).

My mathematical genius aside, I had been thinking for some time that I am failing to make any headway when it comes to businesses and corporate level donations. MSF UK work very hard at this but I’ve always felt rather under-qualified to make the approach. In reality, I am very much qualified to talk to business leaders. My field experience and stories of the good that this organisation brings to the world should be powerful enough to convince anyone of the benefit of partnering with Doctors Without Borders.

If I can get through the door I’m confident that I can convince potential donors of the great things that can be achieved. The remaining problem is therefore getting through the door. I am now asking for your help (yet again). Does anyone have the influence to be able to arrange an introduction to a decision maker in an organisation that may be interested ?

MSF’s policy on corporate partnerships is both very clear and admirable. There are certain companies / areas from which they will not accept money:

Arms manufacturing and selling.

Tobacco manufacturing and selling.

Pharmaceutical industry.

Extraction industry.

If you are able to help with this, please contact me via [email protected]

Once again, many thanks for your help and your ongoing, unwavering support.

Andy
