Last Friday, Tracey and I paid our second visit to Ripon Grammar School. On this visit, we proudly represented Médecins Sans Frontières / Doctors Without Borders to pick up an exceptional donation.
At the end of last year, the pupils carried out a week long fundraiser for MSF.
This magnificent effort raised just under £8000 which is going to MSF and will change lives all over the world.
On behalf of MSF, I would like to thank Headmaster Mr Webb, Head Girl, Amelie and Head boy Ollie for coordinating the fundraising along with a dedicated committee of peers.
Finally, thank you to the pupils who participated in the many and varied events. I know that they have seen the importance of MSF in the world and that raising money to help their work is both fulfilling and fun.
I am very happy to attend schools, give age appropriate presentations and work with teachers to facilitate similar fundraising efforts. Please get in touch. There are many wonderful life lessons to be learned from such projects.
