La Tour d’ Aiges to La Roque d’ Antheron

A nice but long walk today, I finished along a canal which was pleasant.

Right now I am sat in a post apocalyptic looking campsite having my tea. I walked 30 km to this site and it clearly closed a long time ago. I was able to just wander in and pitch my tent anyway. It’s a bit weird with kids slides and swings, showers toilets all covered in cobwebs. I suppose the living dead will be here shortly looking for brains – boy are they in for a disappointment.

I guess there’s one good thing about camping in what looks like Chernobyl – it’s free.

The photo is Ansouis which I passed through early in the day. It was a lovely looking place and I stopped for a drink.
I can certainly see why people like this area. Personally I preferred the mountains. It is definitely easier walking here mind.
