So, plans are progressing for next years Trans USA bike ride.

In May 2016 Tracey and I are going to cycle, unsupported from San Francisco to New York. We are in the final stages of route planning (the last 300 miles which should be finished today). The route is going to be well over 4000 miles. I will be posting more information soon once everything is clear.

We have the bikes, most of our kit, and a great plan. We now need to get there!

This is a self funded project, any money donated goes to Médecins Sans Frontières  NOT our food, accommodation, gear etc and not our flights. We will of course pay for these ourselves unless we can find an airline that can help.

I have been in touch with three airlines so far with no success, understandably the airlines want big returns with high profile celebs. We are just trying to do the best we can for a cause that means everything to me but perhaps won’t draw thousands of new customers for them.

Does anyone have a contact that could make things happen? I know its a long shot but we have to try everything I can.

We are looking for either no cost or significant discounts on flights to San Francisco with open return from New York for Tracey and I, our bags & two bikes.
