Ebola – The Current Situation

Under the media radar for most of the time since August there has been a deadly Ebola outbreak in the DRC. If you thought that Ebola was yesterdays news and over since a vaccine was developed  – think again. The vaccine will NOT TREAT Ebola, it is used to prevent spread. It is highly effective but also incredibly difficult to store and deliver to populations. This is an area in conflict, extremely remote and difficult to access. Ensuring a cold chain (proper storage of the vaccine all the way form manufacture to the patients arm) is immensely tricky.

MSF – including my friend Chris are working to help these people. Please support them in their work by donating to MSF via my fundraising project HERE
