I had a lovely if nerve wracking evening yesterday. I have spoken about MSF to some big groups and at some prestigious venues. This however involved talking to 20+, 8-10 year old Cubs!
As it was, I finished the night undamaged and very impressed by the interest shown and the questions asked. The questions were great - most were of course about scorpion stings and snake bites.
The plan is that the Cubs are going to do some fundraising work for MSF over the next few weeks. This is a really kind thing to do and a great lesson for the kids on how they can help others.
I was a Cub many years ago (until 1977!) and spending time with them last night brought back some nice memories.
I would like to thank all of the Cubs and the leaders who made me feel so welcome. Special thanks to Lauren and Daniel who invited me and delivered me back home safe and sound!
