Today I once again had that wonderful feeling of sending a lot of money in the direction of MSF.
A few things came to mind as I counted the money and I would like to share them with you now.
First of all there is no such thing as a small donation. My friend Abs has been collecting his 1,2 & 5p coins recently and today I counted them up. He has raised £8.96 in change that he doesn’t want to lug about. Here’s what that will do :
If anyone else would like to do this I would very much appreciate it. You don’t even have to sort it if you haven’t time, I will count it out and send you a total.
I also paid in about £200 from talks I have given in Knaresbrough and Harrogate.
Finally, and this is absolutely amazing I paid in £615:10p from sales of the 2018 calendar.
This whole thing was started in 2017 by my friend Karen Heywood. Karen liaises with the gifted photographers who provide the photographs, she then organises the printing. Once printed a very kind network of sellers push them out.
May I thank Karen and those who have sold and bought calendars. Your contribution to MSF is immense. Just take a look:
We are now under £500 from hitting the £80,000 mark. This is a remarkable testament to the hard work of many dedicated people.
Be a part of this, please donate, support the events and spread the word. Together we change the world one person at a time.
