It’s been exactly what I wanted today to be – restful. I did washing and shopping for the next couple of days camping. I then lounged about drinking coffee and read about Judas Iscariot until palpitations suggested it was time to move on.
I visited this impressive bridge (if bridges you dig) which allows a canal to cross the river.
I then failed to see a Roman arena which isn’t much of a story, I’ve also failed to leave the gravitational pull of the earth or to morph into a cat. I did however feel that the arena was within my grasp. Alas the bugger was shut.
So, I’ll be back at the brilliant Lebanese place tonight. I enjoy these things while I can as it’s 4 days of pasta sauce with peas and carrots next.
